Incredible clarity

Earlier this year I purchased a DA 87i from Dachman Audio, and I was so impressed with it, that a couple of months later I also purchased the DA FET 47. This DA FET 47 is an amazing mic with unbelievable clarity. It is now my 'go to' mic these days. I have also promised myself to purchase the DA67 valve (tubed) mic soon for its warmer sound which will probably be more suitable for my voice I think. And, it makes these 3 mics bundled together some £400 cheaper than just the one single Neumann U87i costs to purchase over here in the UK. To my ears the Neumann and the Dachman mics sound the same - so that has to be the bargain of the century mic wise in my opinion. Well done Dachman Audio.

Great Mic

I purchased this mic on the recommendation of a friend and fellow studio owner. I had a very extensive mic locker with about 20 condenser mics (Many high-end mics from the top brands. minus a 47 FET style mic, thus my purchase.) I decided to try it out last week during an acoustic recording session. I first used it on dobro and was pleasantly surprised how full and natural it sounded, so i decided to use it for acoustic guitars and then all vocals. I couldn't be happier. This mic can hang with the big boys and will be seeing a lot of use in my studio!

Outstanding!

I’ve used the DA Fet47 on kick and on vocals so far and I’m super happy with this mix. In a blind shoot out with my Neumann U87, after a slight eq adjustment… $3000 mic vs $600 mic… I can’t tell the difference.
