Excellent sound and value!

Updated review:
Glad to have this mic in my mic locker! However, the body of the mic had slight discoloration and finger print smudges on it when it arrived. Tried to clean the body surface with a micro fiber cloth dampened slightly with Windex, and got most of it off. Not to confident in the body finish staying clean. "Will see how this body finish holds up. Also, there really is a grinding feel when tightening the mic up in the shock mount. Neither of these issues would prevent me from buying a Dachman product in the future, but just wanted to report my findings on my new 87i. All in all, great mic and features!

DA87i

Absolutely delighted with the mic, which ticks all the boxes for me - bought after extensive review on line. Detail, warmth and clarity. But I also need to mention the excellent quality of service from Dachman, who were responsive, quick and very helpful. I’m already contemplating a second mic from them!
